H2 Staffing is a healthcare leadership search and contract staffing firm based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We serve hospitals and post-acute organizations nationwide.
Our leadership-search practice recruits Chief Nursing Officers, Directors of Nursing, Directors of Surgical Services, Nursing Home Administrators, Executive Directors and regional and multi-facility leaders. We also provide contract healthcare staffing for defined, ongoing assignments.
Our focus is simple: identify qualified healthcare leaders directly, protect candidate confidentiality, verify credentials, and help organizations fill critical leadership and ongoing contract needs with clarity and professionalism.
H2 Staffing is owned and led by a service-disabled U.S. Army veteran and is building a dedicated federal government healthcare staffing and recruiting practice for government buyers and prime contractors.
Why H2 Staffing Was Founded
H2 Staffing was built around a straightforward observation. The seats that decide whether a hospital or a facility actually runs well, the nursing and operational leadership roles, are the hardest ones to fill, and they are the ones most often left to a job posting that was never going to reach the right person. These roles turn over constantly, the qualified pool in any given market is small, and the people capable of doing the work are almost always employed somewhere already.
The firm exists to do that work directly instead of passively. That means knowing who holds these seats in the markets we serve, approaching them professionally, verifying credentials before an employer spends interview time, and being honest with both sides about what a search will realistically take.
Our Approach
Leadership seats rarely fill from a job posting. The people who hold these roles are already working somewhere else, and we know who they are in the markets we serve. Rather than waiting on applications, we recruit directly.
Every candidate we present is verified and licensed first, so you are reviewing people who are qualified on paper and ready in practice. Every engagement starts with a written fee agreement, so there are no surprises about terms. And every conversation with a candidate stays confidential. We never share a name or résumé without permission.
Our Contract Staffing Model
Our contract staffing service is designed for defined, ongoing assignments. We are not a per diem, daily-shift or last-minute staffing service. We review each contract assignment based on the position, requirements, schedule, location and anticipated duration.

Glen I. Henderson, MBA, CLSSBB
Founder & CEO
Glen I. Henderson founded H2 Staffing and is accountable for every search the firm conducts, from the first discovery conversation through a new leader’s start date. He works directly with the healthcare organizations H2 Staffing serves and with the leaders it recruits.
Glen is a service-disabled U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat medic and later as a software analyst at the Pentagon, where he held a Top Secret clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. His background spans executive leadership, business development, technology and organizational strategy, and he brings that discipline to a firm focused entirely on healthcare leadership search.
