President & Chief Nursing Officer
Candice Henderson is the President and Chief Nursing Officer of H2 Staffing, LLC, a veteran and woman-owned healthcare staffing and workforce solutions company dedicated to connecting exceptional healthcare professionals with healthcare organizations that prioritize patient care, employee satisfaction, and clinical excellence.
With nearly three decades of healthcare experience, Candice began her career in 1997 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing direct bedside care in a long-term care facility. Those early experiences caring for patients and residents shaped her lifelong commitment to nursing, servant leadership, and patient advocacy.
Over the course of her career, she has advanced through numerous clinical and leadership roles, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and becoming a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), and Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC). Her extensive background spans perioperative services, orthopedic and spine care, surgical nursing, patient education, care coordination, and clinical leadership.
In addition to her role with H2 Staffing, Candice serves as the Total Joint and Spine Coordinator for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Sunnyvale, Texas where she works closely with surgeons, physicians, nursing teams, and patients to optimize outcomes for orthopedic and spine procedures. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary care pathways, patient education initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and evidence-based clinical practices that enhance patient satisfaction and surgical outcomes.
As Chief Nursing Officer of H2 Staffing, Candice brings a unique perspective as both a practicing healthcare professional and healthcare executive. She understands firsthand the challenges facing nurses, healthcare facilities, and patients in today’s rapidly evolving healthcare environment. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in servant leadership, integrity, clinical excellence, and a commitment to helping healthcare professionals find meaningful opportunities where they can thrive both personally and professionally.
A retired U.S. Army Reserve officer and healthcare leader, Candice has dedicated her professional life to serving others through nursing, mentorship, patient advocacy, and workforce development. Her mission is to ensure that healthcare organizations have access to highly qualified, compassionate clinicians while helping nurses build rewarding careers aligned with their professional goals and personal values.
